Les Pas d'la Yau - Quevaucamps
at Sword Spectacular 2008

Les Pas d'la Yau, from Quevaucamps in Belgium, appearing at the Sword Spectacular 2008 in York. The dance celebrates the end of winter, and features a legendary wolf character called the “Galouche” who is symbolically killed during the dance. The local legend has it that whoever touches the head of the Galouche will gain love and luck. Click on a picture to see an enlargement.
