Short Circuit
Generally known in the rapper community as Short Skirt Kit, this ladies' team from Newcastle perform rapper dances of their own composition in a traditional style, if not in traditional costume. They started out as a group of step dancers who decided to diversify into rapper in 1993, and are loosely associated with the High Spen Blue Diamonds.
Their dance includes a number of figures from the High Spen tradition, taught to them by Ricky Forster, and is performed in a distinctive kit of short black skirts and holographic sequins!
