Triskele Sword, a mixed team from Sheffield, were original founded as a scratch team in 2000 to host the DERT competition to be held in the city in 2002, but managed to continue with the dance afterward. They evolved a rapper dance in a relatively fast style which is clearly their own, but with a distinct influence from the Stone Monkey style.

The team is named after the three-legged Celtic symbol, most widely known as the symbol of the Isle of Man, but also the symbol of the former Tyzack tool-maker firm of Sheffield which made the first commercial purpose-built rapper swords in the early 20th century.
